With a distinguished career in Argentinian
music, Faryna-Satorre Duo started playing in
2007 with a repertoire specially selected for
dancing at the milonga. Through their own
arrangements, they seek to adapt the typical
sonority and articulation of the orchestras
from the 40s and the 50s to be played by a
duo.
One special feature of this duo is the verbal
nature of their arrangements —they rehearse
and play with no score, giving rise to
improvisation and creating a fresh sound that
is constantly renewed.
